An idea that is developed and put into action is more
important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

My Wellness Philosophy

To practice Holistic Wellness is to believe in the body's natural wisdom and ability to heal, and to provide support to that end. This differs greatly from the "diagnose and treat" method, which waits until there is illness in the body then suggests a substance to mask the symptoms. Natural Health views symptoms as messages from the body that additional support is needed. The support can be offered as herbal remedies, massage, meditation, acupuncture, or chiropractic, just to name a few.

Some benefits to the holistic approach are:

  • The body is encouraged to heal itself
  • Homeostasis is restored
  • Alternative health practices provide healing and support to the body as a whole
  • Natural treatments may simultaneously offer additional benefit to other areas of the body
  • Side effects are minimal and rare

Once we view the body in this way, we can choose our foods and activities based on the effect that they will have for us. We can choose to eat foods that will support health and provide energy. We can choose to exercise as a gesture of support for our heart, lungs, muscles and bones. We may choose to begin a practice of meditation, knowing that our heart, mind and nervous system will all benefit from this time spent in peace. Developing this type of body awareness and conscious choice will create the kind of blissful wellness that will bring balance to all areas of our lives.

When we agree to see what is not working and which habits and behaviors do not support us, we then begin to make different choices. We choose that which leads us to the life we want.

My Story
I have been involved in the Natural Health Field for 8 years. During this time I have seen the power of Holistic Wellness to heal and transform in remarkable ways. What began as a fascination became a passion. As I sought to learn more, my path to share this information and assist others developed naturally. The more I learned, the more I felt called to pass on the information and provide support for others on the journey. It is now one of my greatest joys to work directly with others in the process of self discovery and personal fulfillment.
